Presented in the modernist spaces of Galerie Mánes, Anima Mundi brings Maxim Havlíček’s calligraphic fields into direct conversation with architecture, distance and changing light.

The exhibition begins with the recognition that every order is provisional and every form holds only for a moment before it starts moving again. Across linen, cotton, satin, polyester and found fabrics, one line responds to what is already present. Layers accumulate without settling around a fixed centre; the paintings become fragments of a field that appears capable of continuing beyond their edges.
